Job Summary
Monitor pool activities, enforce safety rules, respond to emergencies, and provide courteous, resident-focused service to ensure the safety and well-being of residents and guests using the aquatic facilities. Maintain current lifeguard certification through the American Red Cross, YMCA, or Ellis & Associates, along with CPR, AED, and first aid certifications. This role supports a safe and enjoyable environment within resort-style continuing care senior living communities.
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in high school or have completed a high school diploma or equivalent
- Minors (under the age of 18) must obtain a valid work permit, if required by the state in which they are employed
- Must possess and maintain current lifeguard certification through the American Red Cross, YMCA, or Ellis & Associates
- Must possess and maintain current CPR, AED, and first aid certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Prior lifeguard experience is strongly preferred
