Job Summary
Lifecycle Specialist responsible for Time & Attendance within Remote's remote-first workforce. You will act as the expert on Time & Attendance matters for internal and external employees, manage leave and working hours across the employee lifecycle, advise on employment legislation, and coordinate with payroll, legal, and government bodies. You will develop and maintain global internal documentation, identify and implement process improvements and automation (including AI-assisted tools), and safeguard confidential employee data. The role requires independent work in an international, asynchronous, remote environment, strong written and spoken English, and familiarity with Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G-suite. Start date is as soon as possible, reporting to Manager Lifecycle: Time & Attendance in the LifeCycle team; location is remote within the EMEA region.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Time & Attendance/HR specialist with focus on employee lifecycle events and legal compliance across jurisdictions
- Strong communication, negotiation, and confidentiality practices
- Business-level English; additional languages a plus
- Aptitude for automation and process improvement; experience with AI-assisted tools in HR contexts
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, asynchronous, international remote environment
- Familiarity with Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G-suite tools
- Experience handling long-term sick leave/extended absence cases including eligibility and benefits coordination
- Commitment to data integrity and rigorous documentation
- Understanding of employment laws and regulatory guidance relevant to multiple jurisdictions
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (payroll, legal counsel, government bodies)
