Job Summary
Time & Attendance Specialist responsible for the accurate and compliant management of Time & Attendance for Remote's external employees and clients. The role emphasizes employment-law compliance, lifecycle events, and exceptional employee experience, reporting to the Manager Lifecycle: Time & Attendance. Key duties include advising on employment legislation, handling leave and working-time matters across multiple countries, collaborating with payroll and legal teams, developing global internal documentation, driving process improvements and automation (including AI-assisted tools), and safeguarding confidential employee data in a remote, asynchronous, international environment. Proficiency in English with a bias toward clear written and spoken communication is required, with Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G-suite familiarity. The position is full-time, based in the UK, with a globally remote work model and a broad compensation range of $29,750–$67,000 USD annually. Required Qualifications
- Experience managing employee lifecycle events with care, sensitivity and legal compliance across jurisdictions
- Strong communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills
- Business-level English; additional languages considered a plus
- Aptitude for innovating and optimizing processes with automation
- Familiarity with Notion, Slack, Zendesk and G-suite
- Experience with AI-assisted tools and responsible AI use in HR context
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, asynchronous, remote international team
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
- Experience managing long-term sick leave or extended absence cases (preferred)
