Job Summary
Time & Attendance Specialist focusing on accurate, compliant management of Time & Attendance for Remote's external employees and clients; leads employee lifecycle activities with emphasis on legal compliance, documentation, and data integrity. Responsibilities include acting as a case manager for leave and working hours, advising on employment legislation, coordinating with payroll/legal/government bodies, maintaining global internal Time & Attendance documentation, driving process improvements and automation (including AI-assisted tools), and safeguarding confidential information in a fast-paced, asynchronous, fully remote, international environment. Strong emphasis on English business communication, cross-border compliance, and collaboration using Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G-Suite. Location: Iberia region; remote work available.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing employee lifecycle events with care and legal compliance across jurisdictions
- Comprehensive HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations
- Strong written and spoken English; other languages a plus
- Aptitude for automating processes and implementing best practices
- Experience with employee data handling, confidentiality, and documentation
- Familiarity with tools like Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G-Suite
- Experience in handling long-term sick leave or extended absence cases end-to-end
- Ability to work asynchronously in a remote, international team
- Knowledge of AI-assisted tools and safe application within HR context
- Ability to collaborate with payroll, legal counsel, and government bodies
