Job Summary
Time & Attendance Specialist (remote, individual contributor) focused on accurate management of Time & Attendance for Remote's external employees and clients with emphasis on legal compliance and employee experience. Responsibilities include managing the employee lifecycle leave and hours, advising on employment legislation, coordinating with payroll/legal teams, developing global documentation, driving process improvements and automation (including AI-assisted tools), maintaining confidential employee data, and supporting internal/external audits; requires collaboration across an international, asynchronous team and comfort with Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G Suite.
Required Qualifications
- Business-level English communication
- Experience handling Time & Attendance and employee lifecycle events
- Knowledge of employment laws across jurisdictions
- Ability to collaborate asynchronously using tools like Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G Suite
- Advantage for AI-assisted tooling familiarity and responsible AI use in HR
- Ability to manage confidential data with discretion
- Ability to contribute to process improvements and automation
- Experience with leave management (family/sick leave) and working hours compliance
- Detail-oriented with documentation and audit readiness
- Ability to work in an international remote team
