Job Summary
Own lifecycle strategy and execution across email, SMS, and push, from planning through optimization. Build always-on journeys spanning onboarding, conversion, cross-sell, retention, reactivation, and win-back. Partner with the data team to define segments and lifecycle stages, driving behavior-based, triggered, and dynamic messaging from first-party data. Serve as the in-house owner of the ESP and CRM stack, protecting deliverability and sender reputation while configuring integrations and data flows. Build or co-build tooling that automates journey auditing, segment refresh, content variation, and reporting. Optimize cadence, offers, and incentive strategy to lift engagement without driving fatigue or unsubscribes. Own lifecycle reporting and forecasting, tying the program to revenue and lifetime value, presenting performance quarterly and speaking to progress weekly.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years in CRM, lifecycle, retention, or database marketing
- Tactical mastery of email, SMS, and push execution, segmentation, and journey building
- Demonstrated use of AI at a software level
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable with cohort and LTV analysis and turning data into action
- A self-directed operator who can carry a function forward with data and engineering support
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with an ESP or CRM platform (Iterable, Braze, Klaviyo, or similar) and with deliverability and consent compliance
- Experience with predictive modeling and segmentation in partnership with a data team
- A track record of scaling program output faster than team size
- Sports, entertainment, and/or two-sided marketplace experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or the sciences
