Lifecycle Marketing Fundraising Manager

Job Summary

Develop and execute lifecycle marketing strategies to deepen donor engagement, improve retention, and maximize lifetime value through integrated campaigns. Launch and grow the sustainer program while leading the signature event email initiative, managing QA, segmentation, and deployment. Own and optimize the holistic email marketing program, including welcome series, stewardship journeys, and re-engagement appeals, supported by direct mail, paid social, and SMS. Build automated workflows to move supporters through the donor funnel and conduct regular A/B testing to improve campaign effectiveness. Partner with Development, MarComms, and agency teams to create dynamic segments and track KPIs such as open rates, conversion, and churn. Work with Data and CRM teams to analyze performance and translate insights into actionable improvements, ensuring all messaging remains mission-aligned.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience in lifecycle, retention, or email marketing and fundraising
  • Prior experience across multiple fundraising and communications channels, including, but not limited to email, social media, and SMS
  • Strong knowledge of email marketing platforms
  • Experience with marketing automation, segmentation, and campaign analytics
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills
  • Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable improvements
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Mission-aligned, collaborative, and comfortable working cross-functionally
  • Proficiency with donor databases, Raiser's Edge/NXT
  • Familiarity with fundraising best practices and donor stewardship
  • Experience with SMS or direct mail campaign integration
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work extra hours evenings and weekends
  • Some travel
  • In-person events requiring evening or weekend time
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer support or sponsorship now or in the future
