Job Summary

Support systems' life cycle management and sustainment activities for the client's portfolio of programs, projects, and demonstrations. Apply Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) principles to create durable systems with reduced life-cycle costs by developing Integrated Logistics Support Plans, inputting contract requirements for lifecycle support and Test and Evaluation Master Plans, and reviewing prime contractor deliverables. Collect and track deployed system performance while developing maintenance and repair strategies, including Performance-Based Logistics and Reliability-Centered Maintenance. Resolve operating deficiencies, assess sustainment footprints, and optimize system performance. Assist with training program implementation, participate in Configuration Control Boards, and conduct ILSMT and ILSWG sessions. Prepare Product Support Business Case Analyses and develop Logistics Requirements Funding Plans to support the PPB&E process.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of logistics experience
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics management, business, or a related discipline
  • 12+ years of logistics experience
  • Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance use, and employment verifications
  • Only U.S. citizens are eligible for a suitability determination
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively solve problems
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment
  • Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for a U.S. Government security clearance
  • Only US Citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience with program or lifecycle logistics management at DoD, DHS, or other civilian agency
  • Demonstrated acquisition and lifecycle management experience with a major weapon system, border enforcement, or other federal civilian acquisition/capital investment program
  • Experience in most of the major logistics element areas
  • DHS or DAWIA logistics certification
