Lifecycle Growth Marketing Senior Manager, Retention at Crunchyroll leads end-to-end churn mitigation and retention initiatives for the SVOD business. The role designs signal-based, targeted lifecycle interventions to reduce active and passive churn, partners with Analytics/Data Science to translate churn models into actionable strategies, and collaborates with Product, Marketing Operations, and Lifecycle teams to optimize the subscriber experience. Key duties include defining retention strategy, building at-risk lifecycle programs (cancel-save, engagement nudges, payment recovery messaging), scaling interventions across channels, leading experimentation (A/B, multivariate) to measure impact on churn and lifetime value, and aligning retention efforts with onboarding, monetization, and product improvements. Must have strong experience in growth and lifecycle marketing, data-driven decision making, and proficiency with leading CRM platforms to operationalize personalized programs.
