Job Summary
Lead field crews servicing air and water treatment systems in industrial settings. Responsible for installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of water treatment equipment at customer locations. Travel to job sites in company-provided vehicle; operate truck-mounted and skid-mounted vacuum systems; position hoses and equipment; communicate with technicians, contractors, and project managers; provide technical support and onsite operator training; establish and maintain professional relationships with clients; issue commissioning reports per defined processes; assist with warehouse duties, inventory handling, and general site setup; adhere to safety policies and continuous improvement practices. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, PLC/HMI knowledge, and ability to travel Monday–Friday (including overnight) are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical trade certificate, electrician, millwright, or equivalent experience
- Must be at least 18 years old for entry onto job sites
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle
- Valid passport for travel as needed
- Passing of DOT Physical
- Ability to wear and qualify for use of 1/2 and full face air purifying respirators
- Drug & Alcohol screen
- Preferred but not required: CDL-A Driver’s License
- Preferred: Vacuum Truck Experience
- Preferred: OSHA certifications and confined space training
- Prior experience operating forklifts and aerial lifts (scissor lifts, manlifts)
- Understanding of PLC programming and HMI logic (Allen Bradley, Automation Direct, Schneider, Honeywell)
- Water treatment process knowledge (Media, MBR, RO, UF, Chemical Systems)
- Experience in installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial equipment (piping, valves, pumps)
- 3-5 years’ experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with independent travel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Motivated self-starter with result driven approach
- Proven mechanical aptitude
- Ability to travel Monday – Friday, including overnight, and some weekends
- Detail oriented with ability to solve technical challenges and manage timelines
- Strong decision-making skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to lift 55lbs
