Job Summary

Field Media Services Technician II – PA responsibilities include leading field crews while servicing air and water treatment systems in industrial/construction settings, installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of water treatment equipment at customer locations, and providing technical support. The role requires travel to sites, operating truck-mounted/skid-mounted vacuum systems, connecting hoses and equipment, maintaining safety and quality, conducting onsite operator training, promoting services for repeat site visits, and ensuring schedules are met. Strong communication with clients, technicians, project managers, and adherence to safety policies are essential. The position involves hands-on mechanical/electrical work, diagnosing failures, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across field operations; candidates should be ready for travel, hands-on field duties, and collaboration in a team environment.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • technical trade certificate
  • electrician
  • millwright, or equivalent experience
  • Must be at least 18 years old for entry onto job sites and must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a company vehicle
  • Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
  • Valid passport for travel as needed
  • Passing of D.O.T. Physical - determination that no pre-existing conditions exist and no restrictions impede job duties
  • Ability wear and qualify for the use of half and full face air purifying respirators (APR)
  • Drug & Alcohol screen
  • Preferred but not required: CDL-A Driver’s License
  • Preferred: Vacuum Truck Experience
  • Preferred: OSHA certifications and confined space training
  • Preferred: Forklift and aerial lifts experience
  • Preferred: PLC programming and HMI logic knowledge (Allen Bradley, Automation Direct, Schneider, Honeywell)
  • Preferred: Water treatment process knowledge (Media, MBR, RO, UF, Chemical Systems)
  • Preferred: Experience in installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial equipment (piping, valves, pumps)
  • Preferred: 3-5 years experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with independent travel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Motivated self-starter with result-driven approach
  • Proven mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to travel Monday – Friday, including overnight, and some weekends as needed
  • Capable of actively listening and following direction and instructions
  • Detail oriented with ability to solve technical challenges and manage timelines
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Positive attitude with a desire for growth and success
  • Must be able to lift 55 lbs
