Job Summary
Lifecycle Product Engineering Intern at Loll Designs works with engineering, manufacturing, and product development teams on improving existing products and manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include CAD modeling and engineering documentation, product testing and data collection/analysis, evaluating manufacturability and quality improvements, supporting prototype development and testing with cross-functional teams, engineering investigations and root-cause analyses, and maintaining organized project documentation. Internship offers hands-on experience in a collaborative manufacturing environment, mentorship from experienced engineers, and opportunities to contribute to meaningful design-driven product iterations. Pay is $18.00 per hour, based in Duluth, MN, with full-time first-shift hours during summer and a flexible part-time schedule during the academic year, continuing through December 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Product Design, or a related field
- Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software through coursework, projects, or internships
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in Duluth, MN in office/manufacturing environments
- Interest in product development, manufacturing, and continuous improvement
