Job Summary
Support engineering life cycle management and planning for Military Sealift Command (MSC) ships including maintenance, operation, repair, and support. Provide ship availability Program Management (PM) and technical support, and assist in observing, verifying, and reporting on engineering requirements for maintenance and repairs. Deliver technical services in naval architecture, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and marine engineering, and work with the Availability Management Team (AMT) for upcoming vessel availabilities. Responsibilities include preparing reports, supporting SAMM/PENG Program, and providing engineering documentation and recommendations. Up to 100% travel required within the Continental US.
