Job Summary
Life Skills Teacher in Samoset Middle School for 2026-2027 School Year at Leominster Public Schools. Responsibilities include developing and implementing IEPs with clear goals, creating curriculum aligned with Common Core standards, integrating IEP objectives into classroom instruction, designing lesson plans and activities, coordinating transitions, modeling behavior and communication strategies, supporting self-help interventions, coordinating MCAS/MCAS Alternative assessments, managing the classroom environment, and supervising paraprofessionals/tutors. Collaboration with OT, Speech, PT, BCBA, and Special Education Coordinator; effective communication with families and team members; and ensuring appropriate program development for students with severe/profound disabilities. Requires ESE licensure; experience with IEP development and collaboration with related service providers is expected. Salary commensurate with related experience.
