Life Skills Teacher at Belgrade School District: Develops and provides an appropriate educational program for each student, plans curriculum and lessons for life skills and special education areas, and assists in development of IEPs. Leads and participates in IEP and multidisciplinary meetings, evaluates student progress, maintains educational records and reporting forms, and communicates regularly with parents. Exercises professional judgment to follow district policies and procedures, supervise classroom aides and volunteers, and collaborate with colleagues to support students with diverse needs. Requires knowledge of safety practices and the ability to work with a range of staff and families; Montana Educator License with proper endorsement and Montana driver’s license within three months of hire are required. Preferred experience with special needs students and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain confidentiality.
