Job Summary
Prepare classroom activities under supervision and work with small groups to reinforce instructional material. Guide independent study, enrichment, and remedial work while assisting individual children needing special attention. Check notebooks, correct papers, supervise make-up work and testing, and assist with non-instructional duties like snack and clothing routines. Operate office, audio/visual, and technology equipment while maintaining confidentiality of all student information. Support the school administrator and teachers in creating a smooth, organized learning environment. Attend in-service training programs and perform other assigned duties for the benefit of school programs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or verifiable G.E.D.
- Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed.
- Past history of good attendance, being dependable, and punctual.
- Works effectively without direct supervision.
- Communicates effectively with children and adults.

- Computer skills dependent upon position.
