Job Summary
Provide instructional training to clients on household and communication skills for independent living. Supervise residents' active treatment programs, manage daily routines, and assist with meal preparation and facility cleaning. Collect performance data, complete ICF/DD forms, and monitor training programs in accordance with Long Term Care regulations. Transport clients to and from the community and manage client behaviors professionally. This 24-hour facility requires a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and the ability to drive to various locations in Arkansas. Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing tasks while crawling or kneeling.
Required Qualifications
- Mental alertness and adaptability to office and field area work routines
- Equivalent to four years high school or GED
- 6 months related experience or training
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Current valid Driver's license
- Current auto liability insurance
- Physical ability to drive to various locations in Arkansas
- Ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to talk or hear
- Ability to occasionally sit, taste or smell
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Close vision
