Job Summary
Coach clients on essential life skills including time management, hygiene, budgeting, and organization while supporting them in setting, implementing, and evaluating personal goals aligned with treatment plans. Use motivational interviewing, strategic planning, and values clarification to guide young adults toward independent living and professional development. Collaborate with treatment teams, attend meetings, and provide documentation when unable to attend. Maintain timely and accurate session logs and reports. Work a flexible schedule to accommodate client needs and availability. Communicate effectively with therapists, department heads, and residential staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, social services, or related field
- At least 1 year of experience in coaching, ABA, teaching, clinical, or correctional settings, especially with young adults
- Valid CA driver's license with clean driving record
- Must pass TB test and obtain flu shot
- Proficient with technology and Microsoft Word
- Willing to maintain CPR/First Aid and any required certifications
