Job Summary
Facilitate 1:1 instruction with assigned caseloads for 17 hours weekly, working on youth-established goals within Transition plans. Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required paperwork per AAI guidelines and update client team members according to approved program descriptions. Represent Valley Youth House professionally at court hearings, meetings, and public events. Work a hybrid schedule including evenings, with constant walking and occasional driving required.
Required Qualifications
- An associate's degree or equivalent of 60-90 college credits in Social Work or related field
- If the degree is in an unrelated field then the candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in the social services field
- One or more years experience working with youth and young adults or providing case management services
- A valid driver's license
- A motor vehicle report that meets agency requirements
- Reliable transportation that can safely transport clients if needed
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule that includes evenings
- Ability to complete the pre-employment physical and drug test requirements
- Medium to heavy work requiring walking
- Light work that includes stairs and narrow access points
- Light work that requires long distance driving
