Job Summary
Provide independent living skills coaching to individuals with developmental disabilities. You will coach clients on building independent living skills such as cooking, budgeting, and personal hygiene; encourage, motivate, and support clients; plan, create, and organize weekly goals and schedules; and document progress through case notes and quarterly reports. Expect 90% of time spent in the field with clients and 10% on administrative tasks, collaborating with program managers, regional center coordinators, and training staff. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable transportation, bilingual English/Spanish, ability to commute in the Santa Rosa/South Bay area, and ability to pass a background check; computer literacy (MS Word, email, data entry).
