Job Summary
Implement vocational, independent, and interdependent living skills objectives based on individual support plans while assisting with fundamental daily routines such as feeding, bathing, grooming, and hygiene. Provide group and individual instruction to execute assigned plans, participate in meetings to develop living and vocational objectives, and transport individuals to community activities including medical and training appointments. Maintain daily progress notes, actively engage in peer group discussions and safety programs, and report emerging safety concerns. This role requires lifting 50-80 pounds, a valid California driver's license, and the ability to work independently without direct supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess a valid California driver's license
- Must have automobile insurance
- Must have a good DMV driving record
- Must have a reliable and safe vehicle
- Must be able to lift 50-80 pounds
- Must be able to work independently without direct supervision
- Must be able to provide very clear and concise written and oral communications
- Must successfully complete health screenings
- Must successfully complete LiveScan screenings
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background investigation
Desired Qualifications
