Job Summary
Assist in the provision of direct educational, vocational, and supported living services for individuals with disabilities under supervision. Implement objectives from individual support plans by providing group and individual instruction, fostering healthful habits, and supporting daily routines including feeding, bathing, and hygiene. Transport participants to vocational, medical, and training activities while actively participating in safety programs, peer groups, and staff meetings. Maintain progress notes and report safety concerns, adhering to all REACH policies and driving requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess a valid California driver's license
- Must have automobile insurance
- Must have a good DMV driving record
- Must have a reliable and safe vehicle
- Must be able to lift 50-80 pounds
- Must be able to work independently without direct supervision
- Must be able to provide very clear and concise written and oral communications
- Must successfully complete health screenings
- Must successfully complete LiveScan screenings
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background investigation
Desired Qualifications
- A High School diploma or GED is preferred
- A high school diploma is preferred
