Job Summary
Part-time Life Skills Coach provides direct educational, vocational, and living-skills support to individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting in the implementation of living and vocational objectives, helping with daily routines and personal care, transporting participants to activities, documenting progress notes, participating in staff trainings, following safety programs, and supporting program schedules to enhance independent living and vocational outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Must be 18 years of age
- Valid California driver’s license
- Auto insurance
- Good DMV driving record
- Ability to lift 50-80 pounds
- CPR and First Aid training/certification provided by REACH
- LiveScan background screening
- Pre-employment background investigation (CA Penal Code 11105.3)
- Willingness to learn and understand issues related to training and vocational needs of individuals with disabilities and adaptive needs
