Job Summary
Life Skills Coach provides psycho-education and direct support to TRAIL clients, coordinating with clinical case managers to implement treatment goals. Responsibilities include delivering in-person therapeutic support, completing Casey Life Skills Assessments, implementing interventions based on the treatment plan, educating clients about community resources, coordinating medical examinations and transportation, maintaining boundaries and professional behavior, and participating in weekly on-call coverage to support crisis management. Requires knowledge of youth development, health services systems, trauma-informed care, and culturally competent practices; driving clients to treatment activities and documentation in electronic health records are included.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a social sciences field, or Associate's Degree in a social sciences field with at least 1 year of experience, or a High School Diploma with 3-5 years’ experience providing direct care to youth in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting.
