Job Summary
Assist individuals with disabilities in achieving their living skills and vocational objectives under the supervision of a Training Specialist or Team Director. Responsibilities include implementing support plans, providing guidance in daily routines, transporting individuals to activities, and maintaining progress notes. Candidates should possess an interest in the training and vocational needs of individuals with disabilities, be able to lift 50-80 pounds, and work independently. A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Valid California driver's license
- Automobile insurance
- Good DMV driving record
- Reliable and safe vehicle
- Ability to lift 50-80 pounds
- Ability to work independently
- Clear and concise written and oral communications
Additional Requirements
- Must successfully complete health and LiveScan screenings
- Criminal convictions revealed by the background check may impact eligibility to work at REACH
