Job Summary
Supervise and train individuals with developmental disabilities to foster independence by providing care, instruction, and job coaching in person, remotely, or within the community. Develop activities, curricula, and schedules for programming while assisting the Case Manager in implementing Individual Service Plans and documenting progress through daily charting and log notes in the client electronic file. Participate in weekly online videos to track client goal achievement. Requires a high school diploma, valid California driver's license, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Prefer three to six months of related experience working with developmentally disabled individuals or other special populations
- Valid California Drivers License
- Ability to pass background check, physical, Tb and drug test
- Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use computer for daily notes, creation of YouTube videos and video conference
