Job Summary
Life Sharing Host Family role in Stroudsburg area of Monroe County, PA. Host families provide a safe, stable home for a high-functioning adult female, offering mentorship, companionship, and daily living support within a traditional family setting. Responsibilities include supporting daily living skills and household routines, encouraging independence and community involvement, collaborating with Abound Health on person-centered plans, and ensuring safety and dignity. This is a contract position with a daily stipend, ongoing training, 24/7 support, respite coordination, and case management. Training provided at no cost; flexible matching and ongoing support available.
Required Qualifications
- Be Pennsylvania residents
- Be at least 21 years old
- Pass required background checks (FBI, child abuse, criminal)
- Complete home inspections and meet safety standards
- Provide personal and professional references
- Participate in interviews and a matching assessment
- Be willing to include the individual in meals, routines, activities, and family life
