Job Summary
Life Sharing Host Family in Monroe County, PA (Stroudsburg area) sought to join Abound Health’s Life Sharing Program as a Host Family. The role involves welcoming a high-functioning adult female into a traditional family home (preferably a husband, wife, and children) to provide a safe, stable, welcoming environment where she can thrive as the only recipient of services. Responsibilities include providing daily living support, mentoring, companionship, facilitating community involvement, and collaborating with Abound Health to follow person-centered plans. The position emphasizes independence, dignity, and personal growth within a home setting; hosts will receive a daily stipend, ongoing training, and 24/7 support. This is a contract position for independent contractors, with flexible matching and ongoing case management support. Key activities include supporting daily routines, promoting independence and family integration, and maintaining open communication with the organization and the individual’s family.”,
Required Qualifications
- Be Pennsylvania residents
- Be at least 21 years old
