Job Summary
Life Science Teacher at Dayton Public Schools. Responsible for delivering standards-aligned high school biology/science instruction, inspiring and developing students, and supporting a positive learning environment. Must hold/obtain an educator license and submit required documents (resume, transcripts) via the Dayton Area School Consortium. Duties include planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, collaborating with colleagues, and upholding DPS culture and customer service principles.
Required Qualifications
- Certified educator with valid educator license
- Life Science or Biology teaching certification preferred
- High School teaching experience preferred (ideal)
- Strong classroom management and instructional planning skills
- Ability to collaborate with staff and communicate with families
