Job Summary
The Sprinkler Service Sales Representative role involves promoting and selling Fire Sprinkler service offerings to customers within assigned territories. Responsibilities include establishing contact with prospects, qualifying potential buyers, and working with service customer bases to identify needs for existing systems. The successful candidate will develop a sales strategy, close sales to exceed objectives, estimate small projects, and maintain ongoing relationships with customers. Skills required include self-motivation, effective communication, organizational ability, and proficiency with PCs.
Required Qualifications
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed
- Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Exceptional presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and organize work
- Proficient in the use of personal computers to include operating systems such as Window/Office 2007
- Ability & willingness to work as a team player; must be able to work well with others
Desired Qualifications
- 3-5 years industry experience preferred
- Previous sprinkler design experience, including estimating and performing hydraulic calculations preferred
- Technical knowledge of sprinkler systems preferred
- NICET Level I preferred
