Job Summary

Sell Electronic Fire Service offerings to assigned territory; manage the entire sales process from uncovering opportunities to closing, including developing solution/value propositions, preparing design proposals, creating contracts, negotiating terms, and providing ongoing customer service through service delivery. Collaborate with sales, technical, design engineering, service, support, and management to meet customer needs; assume Account Representative responsibilities for installation, training, and coordination to ensure customer satisfaction; identify opportunities, develop sales strategy, conduct building surveys for estimates, maintain a proposal backlog, develop financial justifications, prepare proposals, and drive close of sales while maintaining accounts and pursuing additional opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum two years' successful sales or technical experience with fire alarms, security control, and monitoring or similar industry
  • Ability to obtain appropriate licenses required by national, state and local codes
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Engineering preferred (or equivalent technical experience)
  • NICET certification within the first 12 months of employment desirable
