Job Summary
Own the life-safety compliance program and preventative maintenance governance for the Northern Alberta portfolio, including third-party ULC 536S inspections, fire systems, and emergency equipment. Coordinate certified inspections under NBC, NFPA, and CSA standards, audit reports for code alignment, and address Fire Department deficiency reports. Act as the internal subject-matter reference for compliance boundaries and validate contractor scopes while managing digital tracking and automation tools. Provide advisory support to operations leaders on resourcing gaps and long-term planning. Requires post-secondary education, 2-5 years of fire systems experience, valid driver's license, and own vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education
- 2-5 years experience/knowledge of fire systems
- Proficiency with Office 365 (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Ability to learn and adapt to changing systems and new technology
- Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service to fellow Associates
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain utmost confidentiality at all times
- Effective organizational and planning skills
- Ability to work independently and with other Associates in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to work under high stress and locked-in deadlines
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, enthusiasm and assertiveness
- Valid driver's license
- Own reliable vehicle
- Must be able to relocate
