Job Summary
Provide a safe pool environment by monitoring swimmers, responding to emergencies, and enforcing pool rules and state health department codes. Maintain facility cleanliness and operate chemical and mechanical systems. Work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays from May/June through September 2026. Complete required lifeguard training, First Aid/CPR, and background checks before starting. Seasonal staff gain access to fitness centers, sport courts, pools, hot tubs, complimentary golf, and employee discounts at restaurants and retail outlets.
Required Qualifications
- experience lifeguarding
- teaching swim lessons
- comfortable enforcing pool rules
- state health department codes
- understands the chemical and mechanical operation of swimming pools
- work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- at least 16 years old
- current lifeguard training certificate
- current First Aid/CPR certificate
Desired Qualifications
- Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certificate
