Job Summary
Conduct rescue techniques for swimmers in need of assistance and observe the swimming area for dangerous conditions or struggling guests. Promote facility rules, assist injured guests until emergency services arrive, and provide towels, mop, and clean the pool deck. Report accidents and unsafe work conditions to the manager while completing CPR and First Aid certifications. Welcome guests, ensure professional appearance, and address service needs with clear language. Move quickly to respond to situations, lift objects up to 50 pounds, and navigate uneven surfaces including ladders and stairs. Perform other reasonable duties as requested.
Required Qualifications
- CPR Certification
- First Aid Certification
- Any certification or training required by local and state agencies
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
