Job Summary
Observe the swimming area for dangerous conditions, swimmers in need of assistance, and unsafe activities. Use appropriate rescue techniques and provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive. Promote facility rules, welcome guests according to company standards, and address service needs while maintaining a fun atmosphere. Obtain, fold, and stack towels; wash, mop, and clean the pool deck. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager. Complete safety training and certifications, including CPR and First Aid. Visually inspect tools and equipment for defects. Move, lift, and manipulate objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and over 75 pounds with assistance. Comply with quality assurance expectations and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- CPR Certification
- First Aid Certification
- Any certification or training required by local and state agencies
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
