Job Summary
Design monthly activity calendars featuring fitness classes, arts and crafts, live music, games, and group outings. Interview new residents to document life histories, hobbies, and capabilities for personalized programming plans. Manage department budgets, order supplies, and ensure all recreation services comply with state regulations and safety standards. Supervise staff and volunteers while fostering positive relationships with families and community organizations. Evaluate program effectiveness through resident feedback and report findings to the Quality Improvement Committee. Maintain accurate documentation of resident responses and progress within activities.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a CNA Certificate
- Have a clean driving record
- Experience planning activities for groups of people
- Experience in leadership roles
- Organization and time management skills
- Great communication skills
