Job Summary
Supervise the Life Enrichment team by managing hiring, training, scheduling, and annual feedback to build a cohesive unit. Develop monthly calendars, weekly activity updates, and communication tools while planning and coordinating programs that meet residents' mental, social, physical, and spiritual needs. Assess population requirements to design educational and entertainment initiatives within budgetary guidelines, oversee activity volunteers, and maintain equipment and supplies. Execute contracts and payment vouchers for outside vendors and coordinate events across departments. Work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with occasional after-hour or weekend duties possible. This role supports the Windsor of Savoy senior living community's mission to provide comprehensive activities for current and potential residents.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Two or more years of previous experience working with older adults
Desired Qualifications
- Two years supervisory experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Dependability and high motivation to work with and care for older adults
- Creative program planning skills
