Job Summary
Plan life enrichment activities and serve as an expert for personal programming for all residents within the senior living community. Assist the Life Enrichment Director with overall direction, planning, communication, and execution of activities and life skills, while supporting administrative tasks and proper setup, clean up, and upkeep of activity areas. Coordinate transportation by attending outings, managing relevant administrative tasks, and upholding safety practices. Provide direction to Life Enrichment support roles regarding day-to-day activities and responsibilities, and support functional responsibilities in the Director's absence. Maintain a high level of resident safety while adhering to all Employee Handbook standards. Work Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, and holiday hours.
- This position entails standing for long periods of time.
- The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
- This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens.
- The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Occasional travel to different locations may be required.
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum one to three years related experience and/or training preferred.
- Compassionate towards the senior population.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration of team.
- Proficient in general computer skills.
