Job Summary
Life Enrichment Director develops and implements an activities program for residents based on their interests, needs and abilities, creates and posts a customized monthly calendar, coordinates with the Executive Director for distribution, recruits and manages volunteers, and maintains outside vendors for health, fitness, spa, and wellness services. The role involves engaging with residents, families, staff and volunteers to enhance resident wellness and quality of life, assessing resident interests, planning monthly activities, and ensuring program delivery with strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, background check, food handler card, ability to communicate in English, and flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Access to a private vehicle for business use
- Criminal background and fingerprint check
- Maintains current food handler’s card
- Meets all mandatory health requirements by State regulations
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to work independently (with minimum supervision)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and overtime
