Job Summary
Plan, implement, and monitor life enrichment programming for residents while promoting their well-being and satisfaction. Develop care standards, guide interdisciplinary teams on resident plans of care, and collaborate with families and staff to create diverse opportunities for meaningful pursuits, social interaction, and personal growth. Lead daily Chat Circles with residents and staff, assist residents with individual or group activities, and take them outdoors or to special events. Obtain a Class B license within six months and work flexible afternoon hours M-F, including two weekend days per month.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or related
- Class B license or ability to obtain within six months of hire as required by site
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers
- Must obtain a chauffeur's license upon hire
- Able and willing to work flexible hours such as during evenings and weekends for planned programs
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with seniors preferred
- Demonstrated ability to plan, program, implement and coordinate recreation programming for residents
