Job Summary
Plan, schedule, and coordinate resident activities and special events monthly across Lifestyles, Health Services, Embrace the World, Ambassador, and Heartfelt Connections Memory Care programs. Lead daily resident activities per community standards and promote a healthy culture for all residents and employees. Provide individual and group educational opportunities regarding disease prevention and management within the Wellness Program. Prepare and distribute monthly calendars and execute diverse programs for newly retired seniors, those needing physical assistance, and individuals with varying stages of memory loss. Full-time role with full benefits and NCAP certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- National Certification for Activity Professionals (NCAP) certification preferred; or at least one year of experience working with older adults in a senior living setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to plan, organize, and lead engaging group programs and activities
- Enthusiastic, creative, and energetic approach to working with residents
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required within 60 days of hire
- Compassionate, flexible, and collaborative team player
- Pass preemployment screening process
- Pass criminal background check
- Pass drug test
- Pass tuberculosis skin test
- Provide employment references
Desired Qualifications
