Job Summary
Plan, create and implement an activities program to meet residents' physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs across Touchmark’s Spokane neighborhoods; coordinate events such as holiday and birthday celebrations, organize exercise programs, and support a team-based environment focused on safety, confidentiality, and compassionate care. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; Recreation Therapy experience preferred; valid driver’s license; ability to collaborate with staff to engage residents and families in meaningful activities; Food Handler’s Permit; schedule Tue-Sat; role is in-person at Touchmark’s Spokane communities.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Food Handler’s Permit
- Experience in recreation/activities program in a health care setting preferred
- Experience working with dementia residents highly preferred
