Job Summary
Full-time Life Enrichment Coordinator at Elan Skilled Nursing in Scranton, PA. Under the direction of the Life Enrichment Director, assists in planning, coordinating and implementing therapeutic activity programs to meet residents’ needs and interests; completes documentation on the unit; plans and attends outings with residents; conducts resident visits with conversational and sensory activities; oversees volunteers; coordinates neighborhood programming; performs memory care and rehab activity planning; ensures infection control and adherence to policies; participates in in-service trainings and Interdisciplinary Team meetings; and maintains appropriate records and supplies to support resident enrichment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum – High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with previous recreation experience in a health care setting.
