Job Summary
Plan, coordinate and implement a full life enrichment program and volunteer program for residents; collaborate with the resident services director in planning, implementation and facilitation of social and recreational activities; manage on-campus and off-campus events including educational outings and performances; help market programs to the community and staff and update the MyCov Life app; recruit, schedule, and coordinate volunteers; provide welcome and orientation for new residents; update care plans and attend care conferences as needed; coordinate with other departments for events such as townhall and resident council meetings; update on-campus TV channel and stay current with trends in recreational programming for seniors while upholding Covenant Living standards; contribute to communication efforts (newsletters, information boards) and support program-related trainings and mentoring.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Preferred Associate’s Degree
- 2+ Years Experience
- Experience working with senior adults
- Strong communication, organization, creativity, problem solving and teamwork skills
- Design and implement programs compatible with state regulations
- Ability to train and mentor a team
- Develop and schedule life enrichment programs in alignment with patients interests
