Job Summary
The Life Enrichment Coordinator at Cedarhurst Senior Living plans, implements, and oversees a comprehensive life enrichment program to foster social engagement, physical and cognitive stimulation, creativity, and emotional well-being for residents. Responsibilities include planning and leading community activities and holiday events, introducing new residents to life enrichment programs, coordinating decoration displays, contributing to Life Story assessments, tracking activity attendance and family messaging in Cedarhurst’s electronic platform, attending monthly virtual education meetings, driving the community bus for outings, and ensuring effective communication with residents’ families. The role requires collaboration with residents, families, and staff to tailor programs to residents’ interests and abilities, and adherence to training and infection prevention protocols. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a bus-driving license (or ability to obtain within 30 days), CPR or BLS certification preferred, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, web-based platforms, and electronic health/HR systems.
