Job Summary
Plan, schedule, and lead community activities, holiday celebrations, and special events while introducing new residents to enrichment programs. Coordinate holiday decoration displays, assist in resident assessments by completing Life Stories, and manage activity attendance and family messaging through the electronic platform. Drive the community bus for outings and appointments as needed, ensuring effective communication with residents' families regarding their physical, personal, and emotional wellbeing. Attend monthly virtual education meetings and resolve conflicts among residents, families, employees, and others.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- License to drive community bus or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
- ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds independently
- ability to lift up to 200 pounds with assistance
- ability to walk or stand for extended periods
- ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- ability to climb or balance
- ability to communicate effectively
- ability to identify/interpret written information
- ability to follow all infection prevention and control protocols
- ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE)
- ability to complete a background check
- ability to complete a drug screening
- ability to participate in required health assessments
- ability to use designated personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by company policy and applicable law
Desired Qualifications
- CPR or BLS certification
