Job Summary
Life Enrichment Coordinator responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading a comprehensive life enrichment program to enhance residents' quality of life. Key duties include planning and facilitating activities and events, introducing new residents to programs, coordinating holiday decorations, contributing to Life Stories, tracking activity attendance and family communications through Cedarhurst’s electronic platform, attending monthly virtual education meetings, and driving the community bus for outings and appointments. Works with residents, families, and staff to reflect resident interests and life stories, supports health, purpose, and joy, and collaborates with management to ensure effective communication and teamwork. Requires ability to walk/stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds (200 pounds with assistance), and adherence to PPE and infection prevention protocols. Emphasizes teamwork, continuous learning, and equal opportunity employment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- License to drive community bus or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
- CPR or BLS certification preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word), web-based platforms, electronic health record systems, and HR-related systems as applicable.
