Job Summary
Develop written assessments, care plans, and document resident progress. Assist in creating monthly calendars and planning educational, entertainment, spiritual, and physical activities. Post activity reminders, decorate event areas, and help with preparation and cleanup for special occasions. Coordinate transportation to outside programs, events, or medical appointments. Maintain stimulating activity supplies and manage problems involving difficult residents, families, or sponsors. This role requires a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and previous activity experience in a Skilled Nursing or Assisted Living facility. Full-time day shift 9:00a - 5:00p every other weekend and holiday. Pay range $15.50-$18.25 with comprehensive benefits including health coverage, PTO, and 401K.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- The ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- basic computer-related skills
- the ability to learn how to operate office and audio-video equipment
- Previous activity experience in a Skilled Nursing or Assisted Living facility
- Fulltime Day shift 9:00a -5:00p every other weekend and every other holiday
