Job Summary
Independent Living Life Enrichment Associate in a full-time role supports planning, coordinating, and implementing activities and programs to meet the social, emotional, intellectual, environmental, vocational, and recreational needs of residents in a Continuing Care Retirement Community. Responsibilities include planning and distributing information about events, maintaining the resident information system, preparing the monthly Life Enrichment Calendar, coordinating program materials and supplies, operating AV equipment for events, coordinating setups with residents, flexibility for evenings/weekends, transporting residents for special events, and collaborating with the Director of Life Enrichment to develop programs. Requires strong communication, teamwork, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and related tech, plus CPR certification within 30 days. Shift is Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with occasional evenings and weekends; full benefits package offered.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in recreational therapy or related fields
- Two years of appropriate professional experience in geriatrics, recreation, or social administration
- CPR certification within 30 days of employment
