Job Summary
Plan and implement meaningful activities tailored to individual participant needs, coordinating small groups and providing resources for creative, physical, spiritual, social, and mental wellbeing. Assist in writing, designing, and evaluating the monthly life enrichment calendar while inventing, purchasing, and stocking supplies. Drive the bus for scenic rides and group outings, and observe resident responses to programs to communicate needs to staff. Serve as Director in absence, supporting timecard administration, care conferences, and budget compliance. Compile data for reporting and perform various clerical tasks. Full-time Tuesday-Saturday schedule with moderate physical effort; high school diploma and 1-2 years recreational programming experience required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years experience in recreational programming
- Colorado drivers license in good standing
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to handle objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently
- Must be available for Tuesday-Saturday schedule
- Must be available for temporary position up to 90 days
